The old and the new
This is the main entrance to the S block lecture halls on the university campus. It is a blend of modern architectural design and Maori art. I think it's quite beautiful.

That's fantastic.
the NMIT in Nelson has this newly renovated Maori Study block. The new glass door is engraved (sand blasted?) the flax motif. This is beautiful, but I was thinking something is missing. Well, you gave ma an answer.
Students?? :-)
I do like the the carving, but it's very odd having a daily photo site named after yourself. (my full name is Hamilton)
Oh, fabulous. Fantastic. Waikato is so receptive to things Maori, this is fantastic!!!
I'm not the students ( I wish I'm that young)... nor a teacher.
Well so called, admin (support) staff in IT area and concentrating to the business side rather than academic side.
Ben, what did you think was missing from the shot? I thought you meant students ...
lovely contrast!
