The University Lake

It was an absolute scorcher in Hamilton today! I was down at the Waikato University this morning, where I work. The university campus is very picturesque with lavish greenery and several lakes. This is the largest lake on campus and next to the student green and eateries, where students tend to congregate during the day. On a day like today, everybody wants to be outside!

This student, who is here from Europe, was kind enough to allow me to photograph her while she was reading. This duck (see below) was just about to join her for some intellectual discussion on French philosophy. Luckily I had my camera to capture the shot!

Seems like a great and calm place to be studying

Your blog has been included in our guide.

Around The World with Daily Photoblogs Old and New is a brief history of the City Daily Photoblog movement and a guide to sites around the world.

The criterion for inclusion here is that photographs mainly from a specific geographical location have been posted at dated intervals, and archives are searchable by date. Although originally arising from the CDPB lists this is an independent publication. Inclusion here does not imply that a blog is officially a CDPB.

Please keep us informed of any changes to your details.

Is that a natural lake or human made?

Either way, a great spot to read!

Sounds a lovely and peaceful place to have a book as company!
