AaaagggH Shaaaaame!(It's nice to be able to say that on your blog, I often want to say 'shame' on comments, but I think it does not mean the same in other countries, more of a reprimand than an expression of sympathy, so I don't!)
I had to leave my cat behind in SA. She looks just like your little one.
